Quite often people purchase a home thinking it has “potential”. It needs a lot of work, but they think they can handle it, and decide fixing it up could be a lot of fun. Usually fixer uppers can be had for a great price and are therefore a good deal to the potential home buyer. They try to figure out how expensive the repairs would be to turn it into their dream house not realizing they have purchased a black hole. They think the can fix it themselves but soon realize they need professional help and suddenly the cost becomes much more than they imagined. Then they discover there are even hidden costs and more wrong with the house than initially believed. The work that thought they could finish in “x” amount of time took ten times as long. Clearly they did not know what they were getting into. So why do women enter into relationships with men they consider “fixer uppers”? Women do seem to love a project, but they do not understand the “project” is going to fight them every step of the way. They think they can do the work themselves, when it is actually the other [...]

When you first encounter or meet someone you feel an attraction to you may not know what he is thinking about you. Does he like you? Does he think you are pretty? Does he find you attractive? Does he like your laugh? You don’t know because…. He seems like he likes you….but he might be too shy to make the first move. He flirts with you……but he may be intimidated by you. You get along great but nothing has happened…maybe he is afraid of getting hurt. He seems so comfortable with you, and you can talk about everything but he hasn’t told you how he feels…..maybe he is afraid to express his feelings to you. These are the excuses/reasons women find/make up/justify to make the first move. Really? Seriously? Are you kidding? Let’s take the first one. He seems to like you. Key word : seems. You don’t know. He could like you as a friend, he could find you attractive but has a woman in his life already. He may like you somewhat, but not enough to date. How can you find out? Easy. By what he does. IF he really likes you, and is free to date you, [...]

A rebound relationship is one that either starts while you are still in a relationship, or quickly after a relationship ends. Rebound relationships generally don’t last. When you start a new relationship while you are still IN one you have not given yourself any time to get over and get away from your current situation. Some people do not have the strength to leave a relationship and be by themselves. The fear of being alone is too great, no matter how much the relationship sucks. The only way they can leave a relationship is to already be in another one. People who do this actually need more time alone than most people. Their fear of being alone makes them stay in awful relationships way to long. They don’t take the time to find the right relationship because they have to be in one now. Time alone to heal, look back and examine what went wrong, and doing so alone would really help them in the long run. Ladies, be careful of any man who [...]

Many people have lost money, possessions, and their hearts to someone they should have seen as suspicious from day one. Of course there are the more obvious red flags which we will discuss first, and then move on to the more elaborate schemes.

They may be interested in you but already in a relationship and have no intentions of ending it. They could be interested in you and do nothing about it. They could lose interest in you just as quickly as they got it. If they pay no attention to any other member of the opposite sex when you are around, many people would assume that they are really interested in only you. However, some people may be afraid to talk to you because they like and are interested in you, and can talk to other people more easily than they can talk to you. So that sign doesn't always apply.
