Everyone hates drama. At least they say they do. I don’t believe it.
If you hate a certain kind of food, you won’t eat it even if someone offered you money. If you hate the dentist you won’t go until an enormous tooth pain forces you to go. You still won’t go back regularly, because you HATE it. Hate is a very strong word, so don’t use it unless you mean it.
How can it be that 95% or more of all people “claim” to hate drama in relationships, but are in a relationship with someone that behaves melodramatically or create it themselves? Obviously they don’t hate it, or they wouldn’t tolerate it. If they hated it, at the first sign of it would have made a run for it. Let’s be real, if you aren’t prone to drama you don’t bring it to a relationship, yet when men and women see the person they are interested in acting like a drama king or queen they think this is a fluke? Something they wont do again and again and again? Are you kidding?
There is a purpose for drama, and the people that use it are using it for a reason. They get something out of it. That is why they keep doing it. And the very, very simple answer to the question “How come there is drama in my relationship” is this: because you put up with it and the person doing it gets something out of it.
That’s it, plain and simple. It could be a way for them to win an argument, to get your attention, because they like to fight, because they are insecure, it doesn’t matter. It’s all the same. If they can use melodrama to get what they want they will continue to use it FOREVER. Makes sense doesn’t it?
Wouldn’t you always use a strategy that works to get what you want? That’s why they do it. You don’t want melodrama in your relationship? Don’t want to be with a drama king or queen? Tired of drama with your boyfriend, husband, girlfriend, wife, sister, brother, mother or friend? STOP PUTTING UP WITH IT. There is no other answer so stop searching for one. If you REALLY hate drama, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. Put a stop to it, or shut up.

OMG I hate drama so much but my chick seems to create it – I wish she would stop but she creates chaos when things are going great. I don’t know hos to get her to stop!
We really believe the only thing you can do is walk away from her for a short time. The only way to stop the cycle of drama… is to stop it. otherwise you will end up staying caught up in the same vicious cycle as she is.
